Measured Test Procedure:

Note that Supercooler does not have facilities to match the EPA methodology for calculating highway MPG.  However, our installation process does include testing the vehicle's highway miles per gallon before-and-after installation of SUPERCOOLER.  We drive the vehicle on a measured and consistent test circuit; which includes city roads and freeways.  We document the average highway MPG on a measured stretch of I-10 in two directions.  Our stretch of interstate in this area maintains a light and consistent traffic flow which rarely affects the results of our before-and-after 55 MPH vehicle speed test.  This allows us to obtain more consistent test conditions for calculating highway MPG.  We do not measure MPG for city driving, because of the lack of a suitable test circuit that can yield consistent traffic patterns and traffic light timings.  Results on modified vehicles may vary.

We also document the before-and-after intake air temperature, A/C vent temperature and mass airflow sensor readings on this test circuit.

This is what our customers are saying about Supercooler:

I have installed the Supercooler system on two of my vehicles and am very pleased with the gas saving. On my 15 passenger Ford van our mileage went up 40%. The Ford F-150 went up 26%. Also, the air coming out of the A/C unit is 10 degrees cooler. We are very pleased and would recommend it to anyone.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire team at Supercooler for a job well done regarding the recent installation of their patented Polar Wind system on my 1998 Jeep Cherokee (4WD). Not only does their equipment exceed specifications, but the professionalism of the staff and mechanics was most impressive! The benefits of this equipment were immediately noticed as I left the shop with increased power (less pedal) and the air conditioner was blowing colder air than ever before. The long term benefits are still coming into focus with a solid 2½ mile-per-gallon “in-town” fuel gain on my first tank. I have not had any long trips yet, but anticipate even more gain there. The bottom line… I could not be happier with my investment and strongly recommend this company!

After hearing some of my friends talking about getting an increase in fuel mileage by installing a supercooler on their vehicles I decided to try it. I could not help but think that the manufacturer probably already did everything to get the best fuel economy they could get but I had one installed anyway. My first impression of the shop and the service people working there was enough to convince me I had made the right decision. Everyone was courteous and knowledgeable. I was getting around 16.4 city and 18.8 highway with my 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500. I am now getting 18.7 city and on a recent trip to Biloxi and back I got 26.6 Highway. I also noticed a lot better throttle response and a lot colder AC unit. My thanks to Ray, Matt and everyone at Supercooler in Pensacola.

Still testing the truck. So far things are pretty amazing. On an average my truck would get 12 to 13 in town and on the road 14. I took a trip to Fort Rucker last Friday in AL. The truck got 18.32 to the gallon. I have been driving just in town and have not changed my habits, punching it once in a while just to see what the power is like. There is as stated an increase in power and the air conditioning is very cold. I completed two runs to Duke Field near Crestview this week and filled up yesterday. The mileage per gallon was 17.23 which is great. I will keep testing for two more weeks and let you know if it maintains this mileage. Next month I will be taking a trip to SC and this will be a very long and good test.

I was averaging @ 8 mpg on my 60 ft motor home with diesel engine. After having the SUPERCOOLER installed, it jumped 2 additional mpg and helped keep the engine running much cooler. I recently installed another system on my 8 cyl Toyota Sequoia SUV. It has definitely improved my performance and mileage as well.

My wife and I took a trip to Canada this past summer and even thou properly tuned, my 45 ft RV could only get 11 highway mpg.  After neighbor had a SUPERCOOLER installed and stated he had great improvement in his mileage, I decided to try one before our next trip to Las Vegas. We just returned from the 3,800 mile trip and am pleased to state it added at least 2-3 mpg.  Also, it seemed to help the performance and kept the engine cool even during the heat of the Arizona desert in mid-summer.

I have a 1998 Jeep Cherokee V8. I've had it since new and average about 17 mpg. I found www.supercooler.us on the web and did some research about this system. I was a bit skeptical about spending the $$ but had one installed. The mechanic assured me I would be pleased with the results as  my engine was also occasionally overheating while stopped in heavy traffic during our hot southern weather. I was relieved when I saw a marked improvement of 4 mpg on average highway driving. My car has not overheated as before, and the performance or horsepower seems to be better than before. I'm now a believer and would recommend it to folks with larger (gas guzzling) engines.

As you know, we were having an awful time with our diesel RV.  It just drank fuel. . . you managed to improve our diesel consumption by one more mile per gallon.  Not much, someone might say, but on a 3000 mile trip that is a major savings.  Next you took care of our Ford 350.  Again our mileage improved.  This time we got 5-6 miles better per gallon.  Again, thanks for your help.
