Supercooler complements most varieties of high performance air intake kits (also known as "Cold Air" kits), including K&N, Injen Technology, AirAid and others.  The cold air kit supplies a greater volume of air and Supercooler cools that air to pack a double punch of performance and fuel economy.  We can provide a cold air kit from one of the three vendors mentioned in the list above, and we will be happy to install the complete package in your vehicle.

Fuel Support:

  • Supercooler does not affect the vehicle fuel delivery system, only the air delivery system.  We have tested Supercooler on both gasoline powered cars and trucks and diesel powered trucks.   Other fuels, such as, propane, ethanol (E10) FlexFuel (E85) and BioDiesel should work fine with Supercooler; however, at this time vehicles using these fuels have yet to be tested. 

*Repairs — In certain cases a vehicle comes in with an existing A/C problem or a check engine code.  These problems should be addressed prior to installing a Supercooler system.  You may have these problems fixed by your regular mechanic or dealership; or you can request a repair estimate from us.  All of our repair services are offered using the industry-standard Mitchell mechanics flat rate manual to estimate time for repair.  Our standard labor rate is $85 per hour.  You are entitled to a written estimate from Supercooler prior to approving any repairs. 

 

**Warranty — In order to maintain proper warranty, Supercooler fluid level should be checked periodically. Low fluid can be refilled with distilled water. Recurring low fluid level may indicate a leak in the system.  If you observe recurring low fluid levels, please report it to Supercooler.  Failure to do so may void your warranty.
