SUPERCOOLER products must be installed by skilled automotive technicians who have been trained and Certified in Supercooler installation techniques.  For local purchases*, our employees are available for installation.  The installation takes approximately 4 to 6 hours for a typical vehicle.  The vehicle's air box is slightly modified by drilling input and output holes into the side for access to the Supercooler  "IceBox".  In order to maximize the chill, we insulate the entire air path from the outside air duct to the engine.

 

We begin by conducting a performance and MPG check of your vehicle on our measured test circuit of city and highway roads.  We monitor for existing engine problems that may show up as check engine codes, hesitation, engine miss or other problems.  We also monitor air conditioning system function and A/C vent temperature.  All relevant items are documented for correction and comparison to measurements after the installation.  We notify our customer if we discover problems or find that the engine or A/C is not performing properly before proceeding.  Upon customer approval we correct any deficiencies then install the SUPERCOOLER system.

 

After performing the SUPERCOOLER installation, we return to our measured test circuit and document the new readings.  We strive for a 20% increase in MPG and 10° F colder A/C vent temperature.   See our Products page for installation price.

 

Polar Wind - Models PW12xx 

Passive A/C low side cooling system.  Energizes when your A/C is turned on and delivers cold air to the intake.  A side benefit of this model is a quicker responding A/C system.  This is due to preserving the chill trapped in our highly insulated ThermalJacket.   The ThermalJacket surrounds the outside of your vehicle's A/C accumulator.

REQUIREMENTS:  Working A/C system and 1 inch clearance access around A/C accumulator bottle to accommodate our passive accumulator coil or 12" of accessible low-pressure A/C aluminum line.

* Local installation is available in Greater Pensacola Area.   Basic installation price is normally $300, but for a limited time, we are running a Show Special with the installation included in the price.  Custom installation may be higher, depending on existing aftermarket modifications to your engine.  The price does not include any repairs which may be required.  All of our Supercooler parts carry a one year warranty*.
